TTC after Nuva Ring

Hi ladies! I was just wondering how quickly any of you had success TTC after nuvaring? I stopped taking it in August and the first day of my last cycle was on the 27th. The nuva ring, if I understand correctly, STOPS ovulation. BUT if I'm ovulating normally now that its out, I'm ovulating today. 

I'm mainly just curious if any of you have gotten pregnant immediately after stopping nuvaring.

No. It took us 8 months to get a BFP. Cycles were waaaaaay off and wasn't even ovulating for awhile. The only way we initially did get pg was by using Clomid to regulate my ovulation.

Yeah..it won't let me change it from my email..But thankfully that address isn't valid anymore since I finished college. Thanks for the warning though! 

I'm sure hope my cycles aren't way off..=/

I got pregnant right away. I used my last ring in February 2010 and at the end of April (2010) I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. I'm like a clock when it comes to AF so when I was late, I Googled your same question! I got mixed results. Some were pregnant immediately, others took longer. GL!

When I googled I found similar results. It probably just depends on your body..

I got pregnant with both of my boys immediately after stopping the nuva ring. With both I took it out and had withdrawl bleeding. Then I got pregnant on the first cycle.

Get ovulation predictor sticks.  That will give you an idea as to where you are at with your cycles.

Six years ago I quit the Nuva Ring and got pregnant the next month. I was recently on it again for only 3 months and when I took it out I went 80+ days with no AF.  I finally took Provera to have AF and got pregnant the next month.  The worse part was that the hormones from coming off of it were all pregnancy symptoms but I was not pregnant.

I stopped taking Nuva Ring in January knowing we would be TTC this fall... obvs we got pregnant a little sooner then expected, before we were even TTC!!!  Good luck!

I'm a little late to answer...sorry I was on vacation.

With DS, I was on the Nuva-ring from August 2004-Nov. 2006 and then again May 2007-June 2008.  I have PCOS, had it prior to starting the ring.  It took several clomid cycles to conceive DS a year after I stopped the bc.  With this pregnancy, I didn't have my ring in time in June, we said no big deal, we don't have time.  I got my period when I took it out and then 28 days later and my flow was too heavy and I didn't get it inserted in time and the one day we happened to have time for that I got pregnant, who would've guessed.  We were going to start in the next few months anyway.
