I am so excited to have the fabulous r9 take new family pictures for us at the end of the month. I know we are all going to wear dark jeans and fall-colored shirts. However, I can't decide how casual (or not) I want the shirts to be. I found a Henley shirt for DH, a long-sleeved t-shirt for DD with some embellishment on it, and a long-sleeved t-shirt for me (I would add some jewelry to dress it up a bit). However, I can't decide if I want to go that casual. The other option I'm looking at is dressier sweaters/tops for all of us.
WDYT? Thanks!
Re: I know this is an oft-asked question, but help me decide clothes for pics
For some reason, I always prefer sweaters in fall pictures. I just love fall, and t-shirts for me are usually more of a layering piece. I don't feel like I or dd are completely dressed in just a t-shirt for some reason.
And I'm sure that reason is that my mother never dressed me in t-shirts.
I'm not sure I'm answering your question but I'd mix up the denim. I'd put DD in a jean dress (osh kosh has one that is super cute that I just bought DD) maybe instead of jeans. Your DH in jeans and a shirt with a vest or sweater or something over. And maybe you in a sweater dress or something.
I'm thinking layers and not too matchy matchy. If you really want DH and you to wear jeans, do very different but complimentary shirts but I'd really consider putting DD in something else.
How about a t-shirt with a blazer for you, sweater for the hubby and cute cardigan for your pumpkin?
I like sweaters/jackets with for pics too.
I like this idea. I thought about getting an embellished tank and wearing it under a black blazer. We are doing these colors for tops. Maybe.
Don't see the first color, but we are on the same page. Add a pair of riding boots and you will be stepping out of a Ralph Lauren ad!
