When did the"Terrible Twos" end for you?

Just wondering when my suffering is going to end. Some days are worse than others. But there are definately more good days.

When did the Terrible twos end for you and your LO?

Did it happen gradually?

Did your LO just wake up and it was all over? (This is wishful thinking)

The last couple months haven't been too bad.  I am more nervous of her being 3.  All of my nieces were way worse when they were 3 than when they were 2.

I found 2.5-35. the hardest so far. 3.5-4 was pretty good with the occasional lousy attitude. I've heard tell of the f*cking 4s so I'm waiting for that lol!

We appear to be nowhere near the end.  We have some good days, but others are rough.  DD's tantrums started really early too, so I hoped we would be done earlier, but I guess not.

I would say gradually a few weeks before 3. Not that she become a perfect angel or anything but the tantrums over nothing, and the constant whining tapered off. I have a good experiences with the 3's contrary to some reports that the 3's are worse than 2's. This might be because DD was verbal early on and she hit the 'talking back'/sassy/attitude thing earlier than some. At this age I feel like I can reason with her better and she understands consequences better so her bad behaviors are often shorter and further between episodes.

I have heard that by age 5 they are much easier:)  We have a lot of jealousy in my house so we are no where near the end.

When the tantrum and talking back three's took over!  LOL 

My SIL said she would let me know when they end.  My oldest nephew is 7.

the "terrible two's" have not been that bad for us, but the God Awful, purposefully aggravating Mommy 3s seem to be arriving.

For us things weren't as bad after 2.5 but she did have a brief amount of craziness around her birthday to turn 3. I find 3 more manageable so far because of her comprehension skills. I'm able to talk her out of tantrums and the epic ones are few.

With my DD, somewhere around 12 yrs old....but then the teenage years started, which made the Terrible Twos look like a cake walk!

This for us so far.  2-almost 3 has been pretty rough.  In his defense we did move and have a new baby...but yeah, it's been bad.  In the past few weeks I'm seeing improvement so I'm hoping it's the terrible twos tapering off and not just a lucky streak lol.  But like the other post said, he's very verbal and was super annoying way before most other kids his age.

Griffin was an easy 2yo - no terrible for him.... 3 was hell, though....and 4 has been  much better.

The twins, other story - they are insane 2's... i'm praying 3 is better for them.
