I'm dying here. Pretty sure DS is getting his molars and he is miserable. I don't know what else to do. We're rotating tylenol/advil per the pedi, and he doesn't have a fever, but seriously the kid is miserable and I'm. So. Tired. after at 4:45 AM start to the day.
The only thing he'll touch is a few grapes, and popsicles. If I offer anything else, he crumbles and starts sobbing again. And he cries if his sister comes near him. Or if I look at him wrong. Or if I'm not holding him.
how did you get through this? any recommendations? and can I start drinking?
Re: teething might break me
Molars were pretty horrible...the boys are getting their two year molars I think they call them and it's been rough...
Are using teething gel? I know at some point the boys refused me putting anything in their mouth...I used hylands since it wasn't tasteless...
As far as food does he like yogourt? It's hard especially if they're not eating because it hurts...you could always try a smoothie, not sure if he wants to drink anything you could pile it with fruits and yogort and milk and if you had supplement like Enfagrow you could always put a scoop of powder in it to help sustain his tummy a little big longer...the boys like to chew on ice I just use the crush option and make sure the pieces aren't too big, mind you my boys are now 2 years old, apple juice, etc....
Sorry to hear it.
One of my girls has one molar left and the other has two left. I would have never known that A got two molars. B has been MISERABLE. I finally thought to check A to see if she had anything going on and she cut two without us noticing- sweet girl!
But yeah, it sucks. I can't wait for this to be over. I thought the top teeth were rough....I had no idea what I was in for!
