Crib Bedding Ideas?

I am really starting to think of ideas for the nursery, especially because I just scheduled our BIG ultrasound for the end of October! However, my issue is going to be trying to blend the room to suite both a new baby and his/her old sister who will be 24 months when I deliver...shouldn't be so bad if it is another girl but if it is a boy then I am afraid it will be a boring gender neutral room.  I don't like cartoony type bedding, more simple modern prints, any ideas of where I could find comforters at a discounted price? We live on one income and since I will have to purchase two I need the cost to be low. Also I am wondering if it would save money to find neat quilts/comforters separate and just use plain sheets and bumper pad for the crib vs. buying all matching sets?

Here is an idea that I've seen done.  You could always just do 1/2 the room in girl and 1/2 the room in boy if it is a boy.    A friend of mine had twins and one was a girl and one was a boy and she did two walls in a color for the girl and then the other 2 in a color for the boy's crib.  I thought it was so cute.

That would be a good thought, I would have the best of both decorating worlds then!  I was used to having boys for so long, now that I have been getting to use pink colors for the past almost two years it would be a fun way to continue with my girly decor also! Thanks!
