A little chuckle

Yesterday was orientation for Marley's preschool. Out of roughly 8 kids in her class she is the only girl.

The teacher was describing the daily classroom activities which include potty time where all the kids are led into the bathroom and take turns going to the potty (if toilet training is part of their therapy). She said that all the boys line up at the urinal to take turns and that it is important for the boys to watch each other go to the bathroom as young boys respond well to peer behavior/pressure.

An image popped into my head of my little girl sitting in the bathroom with all these boys watching them all line up at the urinals. I wonder what she will "learn"?!

  • Hey, how are you?! How's the new baby?  Is Marley enjoying being a big sister?

oh boy!  I can't even picture these mini urinals lol.  I've never been in a boys bathroom (confession!)  Will Marley be in there, like is it a co-ed bathroom?

It's kind of weird...I know they are all young & innocent but still I hope she doesn't learn to pee standing up!

  • Hi, we're doing good. The new baby is great and Marley is starting to get use to her. She crawls over to her and gets very excited, clapping. I think she wants Lila to play with her though at 4.5 months she's not doing much besides mouthing everything and occasionally rolling. But it's great to see Marley so interested in her.

     How are you?
