I'm confused! (newbie question)

I thought when I was charting I was looking for a spike in temp to tell if I have Oed or not. Is it it spike or a dip?

 This is all so confusing

It's a sustained temperature shift.  Try the tutorials on FF - they explain everything pretty well.

yes please watch those video's they helped me out ALOT and make things alot easier to understand.

Your temp might dip a day before or the day of ovulation but it should rise higher than your other temps and stay high until you get a bfp or your period.
