38 Wks & think I may have YI....What if I go into labor??

Ugghh, what horrible timing for this.  So I know lots of disharge is normal late in PG but I'm nervous I may have a Yeast Infection or some other bacterial infection.  I have tons of disharge, more yellowish in color.  It does not have a foul odor but I do have a little bit irritation down there as well.  I feel like I'm constantly wet down there too, could be combination of sweat (yuck!), dishcharge and leaky Pee.

I am going to the OB today to get it checked out.

I'm just so nervous what if it is an infection and I go into labor....can I deliver vaginally or will they have to do a C-Section??  

Anyone else have a YI this late in PG??

I don't have a YI, but I'm having a lot more discharge, and it's the white lotion-y kind.  No odor or itching, just a lot of discharge.  Talked to my MW about it yesterday, and she said it's totally normal.

I'm no expert, and I'm just speculating based on what I know, so take this with a grain of salt.  But I would think you could still deliver vaginally with a YI and it wouldn't hurt the baby.  Yeast infections aren't really "infections" per se, like a bacterial infection.  It's an overgrowth of the yeast that is already present in your system.  But like I said, I'm just speculating.  Good luck at your OB, and let us know how it goes!

I just got done treating one ... my doctor wasn't concerned about the implications for delivery at all!
