Also apparently my basement is below flood level FML
Good news the water hasn't gone over 2 inches and my washer and dryer are on a 6 inch platform and I don't have anything stored in the basement. The bad news... it's supposed to continue to rain
I'm awake this early because the intersection in front of my house is about 2.5 feet deep in water and people are STILL trying to get through and DH is part of the fire company in charge of dealing with this area. His beeper keeps going off...
ETA: the river that runs just feet from my house had a flood stage of 12ft... its currently at 13.5ft...
Oh wait i read the hydrograph wrong. Flood stage is 8ft. Moderate flood stage is 12ft... FML FML FML
