OB appointment today

So, since they couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler at my 10 week appointment, they had me come back for another appointment this week to try to hear the heartbeat.  It took her a bit to find it still (anterior placenta), but she found it!  It was beating at 162 bpm.  Such a great sound!

Yay! That gives me hope! I also have an anterior placenta.

She had to put the doppler so low it was almost on top of my pubic bone to find the baby around the placenta and it wasn't very loud, but it was there!  Glad it gave you some hope!  You'll be able to hear the baby at your next appointment I bet!

Yay!  I'm so glad you got to hear it this time.  It is such an awesome thing.  I wish I had been allowed to record it at my last appointment.  I can remember it now and it always makes me tear up.
