1 hr Glucose test :(

I am seeing a new doctor and because DD was big (9lbs9oz) they want me to do the 1 hr glucose screening today, I am 10 weeks.  I didn't mind it the last time, but this paired with all day sickness does not sound fun!

I'm so sorry. That crap made me want to puke when I did the test in 3rd tri, I can't imagine doing it now...

A big baby doesn't mean anything.  Mine was 9.7 and no big deal.

It's not the funnest, but the flavors have gotten better.  My doctors office checks it with every pregnancy during the first initial visit.

I don't know, guess better safe than sorry?!  I was not diagnosed with it last time, just a big baby because I have a big hubby!   The test went okay, the drink was worse than I remember, but we got to hear the HB today and I got an Rx for Zofran which I hope helps me eat more than Nutragrain Bars!

Consider yourself lucky, mine is two hours because I'm a negative blood type

I had GD last pregnancy and from my understanding, I won't get tested this time around until about 20 weeks.  Maybe when I go in for my appointment next week, they will tell me something different.    I sure hope not.
