Hello everyone,
I'm new to this board, spent a lot of time at TTTC. My husband and I had been trying for eight months and I was recently diagnosed wtih PCOS. After my third round of Clomid, I got four BFPs this week.
Considering I have PCOS, I am very nervous about the possiblity of miscarriage and am driving myself insane worrying about all my symptoms. I have had minor cramping on and off, no big deal, absoultely no spotting, but now my breasts are no longer sore. I am only four weeks pregnant and so nervous!
Called my doctor and had my first blood test this morning and go back in on Friday for another. Has anyone had similar side effects (only really worred about my no longer sore breasts) and had everything turn out ok? Or is this a strong sign of miscarriage??
Re: Recent BFP w/PCOS
You're fine. Symptoms are generally off and on. You are so early in your pregnancy, too, and symptoms rarely show up so early anyways (of course they can, but I didn't have any really until 5 or 6 weeks).
You called what you have "side effects" but they aren't, they're just symptoms. Mild cramping and tender breasts are totally normal, and many symptoms aren't consistent. Try not to read into things too much and see what your blood tests say. I'm sure everything is totally fine.
If you think positive things will work out. It sounds corny but it's true. I have PCOS as well and have had some bleeding/spotting so I've been VERY anxious. You have no negative symptoms so I would just stay calm and enjoy your pregnancy! Good luck!
