Just brought DD to her first day of Kindergarten...

Hormonal pregnant mom + terrified crying Kindergartener = emotional breakdown.

    :( Hang in there!  I'm sure she's loving it now that she's inside learning with all the other kids.

    I took my oldest to her first day of preschool last week.  After she got out of the car at the drop off, turned to wave bye, I cried like a baby!  It's hard seeing them grow up and not need you as much like they did when they were an infant.

    That sounds rough. Did you have your breakdown in the school or after you dropped her off? I used to teach Kindergarten and that first day can be rough for many moms and little people. Hang in there, hopefully she had a great day and it can only get better for you!

    I held it together until I turned and walked away.  I know she'll do great.  She was just really scared, and she has trouble separating from me.
