NBR: Fantasy Football & NFL

Soooo am I the only one that is excited about a new NFL season and/or Fantasy Football?!

At work, we have our FF draft today at 4:30 and I absolutely can't wait!  I never played FF until I started working here 3 years ago and I absolutely love it.  Any other March Mamas play?

I know we already talked fave teams a while ago, so I will  just re-iterate excited for Sunday & Monday evenings in front of the tv watching football   We are a divided house but we manage every season, lol!

SO EXCITED ABOUT FOOTBALL OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my very favorite time of the year. I have played FF the past three years, but I have the worst freaking luck with it (at least half my team always ends up getting injured) so I decided to not play this year. 

Luckily we are not a divided house though I do care a lot more about football than my husband does (he's a baseball guy). I don't know how I would manage that...I guess it would all depend on what the divide was.

We "kind of" respect each other teams for most of the season until playoffs! 

I told him last night I had to buy my maternity Eagles shirt and he said he was going to spray paint it...silly DH!

I'm not a football fan, but I do participate in my husband's spreads league every year.  Somehow, I always do really well, and I've actually won thousands of dollars.  I know nothing about the teams.  I only use intuition, and sometimes I base my picks on which cities I'd like to visit.  Truthfully, I hate sports, and I hate football season (DH can't miss a Giants game).

Our only divide is in college football. DH went to Louisville and I went to Cincinnati. Not really rivals, but we play each other, and not that it really matters b/c they are both small schools in the college FB scene.

We unfortunately live in Cincinnati, so the NFL is a whole different story for us. Being a Bengals "fan" is a love/hate thing. Usually more on the hate side. No home games will sell out so we won't even get to see home games televised, and have decided to follow the Colts and NY Giants this year. I chose NY, b/c I lived there for about 4 years, and DH chose the Colts, b/c they are only about 2 hours from here. 

Other than that it will  be my usual season of rooting against the Pats and hoping Big Ben falls on his big fat face

I just had my FF draft last night!!  I am so excited.  This is the 1st time I'm doing it in several years. 

I'm also a huge football fan and so is my DH.  We luckily both love the same team.  Unfortunately for my children they are not going to know what rooting for a winning team is like.

Right now MM has the basic team t-shirts, buy one get one 50% off.  I like the NFL gear better though, it's so cute!

I CANNOT WAIT FOR FOOTBALL!!!!  And for me it starts tomorrow!!!!    Packers fan here (and I'm from Wisconsin and have season tickets so NOT a bandwagon fan!).  I haven't done FF but I am in quite a few pools.  I just love football season and fall!!!!  Plus I found a cute shirt at MM that says We Are Green Bay Fans.  Better than some of the stuff I found online.

Speaking of cute football stuff from MM, my stepmom and dad got me a pair of the Ravens active pants from there and they are SO. COMFORTABLE. Highly recommend.

We are also a football household!  DH played college football, so it's like a second religion around here.  He's a Redskins fan, and I cheer for them out of courtesy (since they are in the Andrew Luck Sweepstakes this year), but I'm from Chicago and all my relatives are die-hard Bears fans, so I root for them too.

We're bigger college fans (Hokies) and DH works at the VT games on the field, but we're happy to watch any football.

Did my FF draft last night too-feeling pretty good about it!

Another Eagles fan here!  Woot! 

My boyfriend hates football and I live and breathe it.  I usually end up going to my parents house to watch the games just so I have other people to cheer (or cry) with.  Plus, I love when my mom cooks for the games.  It's always a little feast.

I'm telling you, this kid better have my love of sports.

Yay Football!! Soooo glad the good sport is back on! I LOVE football, its my favourite sport ever and I get REALLY into it, lol. Most guys give me a blank stare when they realize not only can I keep up with them, but I know more than most of them do about the sport, lol. I've never really played FF though, but it seems like a lot of fun I'm a diehard Packers fan, since they are the team that got me into Football in the 4th grade, but of course I always have to root for my home team, the Cardinals. Hopefully Kolb turns out to be a great quarterback, we really need one Sooo excited for the Packers/Saints game this thursday. We're going to murder them! Woohoo!

Happy to see so many Football mommies! That is going to make this season a lot of fun, especially with our haywire hormones! LOL.

No way, this is our year!  Just kidding, but I'm holding out hope that maybe we'll break even this year.  I think the last few times there was a strike the Redskins did well, so maybe we have a chance?  Please?  Nearly 30 years of being a Browns fan has taught me well how to deal with dissapointing sports teams.

Soooo excited about football!  All of my drafts are done.  I have 2 NFL leagues and one College league.  I have played FF for the last 6 years and love it!  (I am also in a fantasy hockey league too.  Can't wait for that!!)  DH and I are Lions fans.... I know, I know.  But we are looking so much better this year!  GL to all the ladies in FF leagues!  Oh and FWIW my team name for one is Pumps and a Bump.  None of the guys have caught on yet.

Can't wait!  I actually just got 2 free tickets to the Jets opener this Sunday and I could not be more excited!!! Plus, I just had my fantasy draft on Monday... ugh, I always doubt my draft picks every year... someone tell me Chris Johnson isn't going to be a bust this year...

I LOVE football and FF! We did our draft on Sunday night and had a draft party at our house with anyone that could be there. I'm a huge Browns fan and DH never really followed NFL football until he married me so he'll root for the Browns too. He's obsessed with Notre Dame football instead!

I was hoping they would go w/Beck, even though I knew they wouldn't.  We looked ok in pre-season, but we have done that in the past.  I'm not holding my breath for a good season.

I am def excited about football and FF!!! This is my second year doing FF and I love it. Makes it more exciting to watch the other teams (not just mine- Go Steelers!!)!!

We're divided too. DH is a Ravens fan. Whenever we play each other we generally don't watch in the same room....but this Sunday we're going to M&T Bank Stadium for the game and I'm SOOOO excited!!!!
