Warning to all the San Diegians out there:

I just took my 7w (adjusted age) old, 8.5lb DD to eat at the buffet at Viejas Indian casino (DH and I went up there to gamble a bit, while my parents took DD to the outlet stores across the street, so we went there for lunch).

They charged me $9.95 for my lunch, and $9.95 for DD's lunch. Is this normal....do other restaurants charge full price for babies? She weighs 8.5lbs and only drinks breastmilk.

If you still have your receipt, you could call the manager & complain about the erroneous charge.  If they value customer relations, they'll give you a refund.

I thought the cashier was joking at first until I saw the receipt. By that point, we had already waited in line 20 minutes, and were hungry, so we just paid it so we could enter and eat. The manager explained that they don't charge for people to eat, instead they pay for people to enter the buffet, and she counts as a person. WTF?

Oh, and you bet I whipped out the boob in public to nurse her at the table. I dared anyone to comment on my NIP. Too bad no one did or I would have said: "I paid for her to eat, and now she is eating. I didn't see 'breastmilk' on the menu, so I had to bring my own."

I seriously considered ordering a coke "for the baby" just to see if the waitress would have brought it.

LOL!!!  I was just telling DH what happened to you and he said that we would have had me feed him at the bar with no cover.  We paid for him to eat here!  Than I scan down and see that you did that.  Good for you!!!

That is absurd! Sorry you went through that, but now I know to not bother taking Logan to the buffet. I'll stick to the diner, they have yummy fries anyway!
