TV shows that are worth watching?

A friend of mine recommended stocking up on some tv show seasons on dvd for when you're awake at night with the baby and there's nothing on.?

I love The Office and Lost. ?Any other recommendations? ??

My husband and I missed a few season (i think the first 4 seasons!) of 24...and enjoyed watching those on DVD....actually maybe it's a bad recommendation...it was soooo addicting that we would stay up waaaaay past our bedtime....we couldn't turn the TV off!!

For comedies, I suggest 30 Rock and Arrested Development. For dramas, since you like Lost, I suggest Heroes and Alias (but only the first couple of seasons!). House is also good, if you feel in the mood for medical stuff.

Sorry, one more, Dead Like Me.  It's very very funny, 1 episode and I was hooked.  We watched both seasons in a weekend.  Pathetic but true, lol.
