Corduroys or jeans

I am finalizing the fall/winter wardrobe for my 21 month old DS. Do you think I should have more jeans or corduroys? Cords are nice but jeans might get use in the spring as well. They are about a $2-3.00 difference in price. So far I have two pairs of jeans and 4 pairs of cords. I am thinking of switching the navy cords for another pair of jeans. Also do you think the Carter's cords would be warmer than their jeans?

I always go for more jeans, but that is because our weather can be nuts and I really think our winters are mostly mild here (compared to when we lived further north).  I think jeans are more versatile and can be worn through many seasons when the weather is changing.

I like cords more.  Theres more colors and I think the fabric feels nicer against the skin.

We've never used cords.. maybe I'll get them 1 pair each this year.  They have a few pairs of jeans each and then mostly comfy fleece/sweat pant type pants for daycare.

I ended up buying 3 pairs of cords, three pairs of jeans, and brown sweat type pair. I have not seen fleece pants in Carter's, Gymboree and Children's place for toddlers.
