Read it from library. I really liked the approach, some of it was not appropriate for my kid at the time (he was 4) and some suggestions were better for school age. In general though I got some good tricks, much needed perspective and a theory that matched my values.
I really liked it. It made a lot of sense. A few chapters were not news to me, but a good 2/3 of it was so helpful because I was visualizing and reminding myself. I photocopied the summary pages (the summary is in a box at the end of the chapter. There are like 5 of them) and keep them on the refrigerator and I try to look at them once a day to internalize things, because in the heat of the moment, I sometimes forget good practice.
