Hey everyone,
Just venting here. I am having trouble at work with my employers...they do not understand the process of infertility testing. I am scheduled for my first IVF in a few weeks, and I have had lots of Drs appts. I have been almost harassed at work because of this! I try to explain everything, but I get eye rolls and text messages saying I should reschedule my tests because they need me at work. I have so much to worry about and now I am feeling even worse
I wish these people would understand the pain and emotions of dealing with infertility!!!!! I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
Re: infertility venting
Do you employers know you are going through all this for IVF? You can contact your HR rep and tell them that you feel like you are being harrassed. You don't have to disclose what type of Dr appts you are going for, but you can always bring in a Dr note for each of your appointments, just to cover your back.
Don't let them get to you. There are laws out there to protect you. IVF is stressful enough, you don't need anyone adding to it!
Good luck!

I am really upset about this...I was crying all day. It is so stressful and it doesnt help to have people make comments. The only thing I want to concentrate on is having a family.
