If you had D&C, how long did you bleed?

I had my D&C two weeks ago, and am still spotting every day. Some days are heavier spotting than others. And, TMI... it's very dark brown.

Anyone else have dark brown bleeding for weeks?

It took a full two weeks for me and (TMI) I finally passed a large clot and it stopped. I hope it ends soon for you!

I just had my D&C yesterday but I had brown spotting for about a week before the D&C. After my surgery yesterday I bled bright red for a little and then haven't had any bleeding since.

My doctor told me that I could expect to have little or no bleeding or spotting up to two weeks. She said everyone is different so she couldn't give me a real answer.

I bled for about two weeks with my 2nd and not at all with my 1st (different docs).  My 2nd doc explained that b/c my uterus is tilted, she didn't want to get too agressive... so I guess I had a 1/2 D&C, 1/2 natural MC of sorts...

I had very little bleeding at first and then 5 days later started having a lot of bleeding for a week. I was told when I called that it was normal to have some degree of bleeding for up to 2 weeks. Do you have a follow-up soon that you could ask about it?

I had my D&C on Monday and the bleeding has been very minimal.  I only use a panty liner.  I could, but don't, wear the same liner all day as it is that light.

My follow up appointment isn't for a couple of weeks from now. 

Meanwhile, I'm still spotting very small amounts of REALLY dark brown. 

I will call my doctor today to see what gives with this weird spotting. It has lessened a bit, but it's so unlike any spotting I've ever had.... so dark brown and weird texture. :-(
