So I have a question only you can answer Smile My husband and I are considering naming our daughter Caroline. My grandmother's name is Carol and we love the name. So my questions since you already have a Caroline is do people sing to her? I know weird question but my husband is afraid everyone on earth is going to sing Sweet Caroline to her...especially since we live in New England and it is the Red Sox song. He really dislikes Neil Diamond and doesnt want to have to hear the song for the rest of his life....I know he is picky.

Also what do you call her for a nickname? I really like Cara but not Carol. A

    First I missed the "cute" part as she has been 100% pickle the past month, lol...

    That said, we call her Caroline, Jujubee (Jujie, Jujie-fahloogie) and Monkey Dunkie. I HATE Carol (sorry), Cara is okay but NMS.

    I love the name and will call her Caroline the full name her entire life.

     My family is from NE and never sings that songe to her (I am a sox fan as well) but I love that song...I always sing "Pretty In Pink" you know it goes Caroline loves when its raining all day...etc...and Chicago has a GREAT Caroline song.

    Now to name this 2nd girl...what else were you considering, inspire me!

    Your answer is very helpful thank you I dont like Carol at all either..but Cara seemed okay. I will call her by her whole name...just like you...the name is beautiful.

    I love your songs, will have to look up the one in Chicago. My husband is so funny about the Red Sox song. We actually considered Cecilia as well but he was very against that song...."making love in the afternoon with Cecilia up in my bedroom" .

    As for other names we considered: Savannah, Alexa, Cecilia and Rachel...but Caroline is the best. Cant wait to hear what you decided.

    I love Charlotte and Julia. Charlotte was on our list as well. Something about those southern sounding names in little girls.
