Help! When do babys start to teeth?

My 12 week old DS (32 week premie) Has been screaming for an hour we've tried everything to calm him. He is drooling a lot an he never does this. He is also wont take his fist out of his mouth. He is not hungry we've tried to feed him early but he wouldnt take it. Any Ideas? First time parents here so any suggestions help

Same over here...it goes for several days, then he'll have a few good days, some have lots of drool, some have less. I let him gnaw on my finger. I offer him cold teethers, but not into them, He likes to chew wash clothes or burp rags.

My pedi says they're always teething until they have teeth. Makes sense but not very helpful Hang in there!

Thank you! He has never done this before so we both freaked out a little, we've tried the teething toy an our fingers he isn't really sure of it all.

We swore my ds was teething for months. He didn't get his first tooth until he was 11 months. It sucks. Hang in there!

We spent a lot of nights sleeping together on the couch. Haha. Do you swaddle? That seemed to help sometimes too.

Lol my DH is doing that as we speak, yes I keep him swaddled he wont be any other way.

You could dip your finger in sugar water like the Sweet-ease they use in NICU/drs..

Oh, and skin to skin helps

can he be colic at all? we had that issue alot with our ds. bouncing in our baby bjiorn helped alot with that. my ds didnt start showing signs of teething til 4 months hes almost 8 months with no teeth still

Maybe try a bit of tylenol. When DS is having a really cranky, drooly, fist-always-in the-mouth day, a little tylenol does wonders.

My DD didn't get her first tooth until she was 11 months old. Hang in there Mama!

This, although I think she got her first tooth a bit earlier.  But still, I could have sworn at 4m that she was teething...nope.
