I wish there were a sign that said "Your house isn't a mess because you are a super awesome creative mom, it's because you are lazy" Don't blame your kids for your messy house all.the.time...

My house is a mess because when everyone else goes to bed, rather than cleaning, I stay up and watch trashy tv like Jersey Shore and big brother.

 

Also, so sick of the "free" paint chip projects.

I don't totally follow your first sentence, but my house is a farking mess because my kids are up my butt when home, and I don't feel like staying up until midnight cleaning everyday.

The mess stresses me to no end, I hate it and I'm far from lazy, just sick of putting the same shiit back over and over again.

I always have people pin things that say, there home is a mess because they take the time to do fun/creative things with their kids

Oh yea, no. That sign isn't going up in my house. It's like saying you can't run a brush through your hair or bother w/ make up because you are such a devoted mom, you can't even think of taking that time away from your precious spawn.

I am so, so sick of all the inspirational fitness pins.  The "Do you really want that cookie?" ones or the really annoying one I saw that said to get the body HE fantasizes about, stop eating.

I watch housewives at work on hulu because if I had bravo at home, I wouldn't get off the couch. And last night as I was eating my snickers ice cream I realized that if I quit eating/baking my running would pay off. Oh well
