recommend your waterproof mattress pad

 DS1 decided to strip naked in the middle of the night on Friday. Naturally, he peed on his bed and made a huge mess.  I already had a waterproof pad on there because of the occasional diaper leak, but it didn't make it through the wash after Friday's misadventures.

Do you have one you love? All of the ones I've found either seem to be for medical use (which I am OK with, but they seem to be for small leaks, not naked 2yos peeing the night away) or really expensive or for "extra thick" mattresses (um, do they even make extra thick twin mattresses?)

 

Anyway, any personal reviews would be most appreciated.

We have one from Target, I don't remember the brand, but the packaging had teal letters on it. Dwell Studio maybe? It works great. DS likes to strip down also...or put on real undies instead of his pullups when he is in his room alone. The mattress has never gotten wet.

Summer infant waterproof pad for twin bed...can be found at BRU.  large pad with wings to fold under mattress.  Meant for potty training.  Use it under sheet above reg mattress pad.

the target brand waterproof mattress pad has been great for us. he is leaking out of his diapers a few nights/week!! drives me bananas. It was like $14 i think. We have 2

Has a terry cloth feel instead of plastic like some do. Doesn't sleep hot. We have one for our king bed too.
