Hi Everyone...my husband and I are investigating options for childcare.  Our baby is due October 14th, and I will be going back to work after only 6 weeks.  I would love to find someone who provides in home child care but don't even know how to start finding people??  Any recommendations would be much appreciated!  I live in Bridgetown...

My best friend's twin sister (follow that?) does in home care on the west side. She has been a nanny for years and has two kids of her own (a 4 month old and a 15 month old). If you are interested I can get you her contact info.

Good luck, I was in your shoes not too long ago.  I live in Bridgetown also and send my 7 month old to an in-home sitter a few streets over.  I can ask her if she is interested in taking another child if you would like. 

Also, I've met a mother recently who stays home with her own 2 year old daughter and one or two other children.  I don't know personally how she is as a sitter but I can ask her if she is interested in another child.  Personally, I would consider her if I didn't already have someone I love.

Lastly, a girlfriend of mine recently mentioned she would like to watch another child.  She is a SAHM of 3, the youngest is walking and oldest in 1st or 2nd grade. Again, I would personally consider her if I didn't already have someone.
