Anyone own one they rec? DS2 is susceptible to bronchiolitis and has landed in the hospital for it before. We were almost there again yesterday. He doesn't respond to breathing treatment so I end up at the pedi to to monitor his pulse ox and if it dips too low we head to Children's Hospital. By the time I pay for the pedi I could have paid for a few of the meters. Last night I was up most of the night going in and checking him to make sure he was breathing ok.

One of my LOs SATs low when he's sick and we use it to judge when to take him to the ER basically. I know they say it may not be accurate for young children, but I have twins and Nathan always reads correct.. 98-99 as do DH and I... Joey on the other hand... when he's sick and needs treatment... he's in the 91-92 range so I know it's working at leas to some degree. It's been a money saver for sure for us.
