I also go to OBGYN of Atlanta and see the Midwives. I have been going there for 14 years. Love them.

I go there too. However, trying to get an appt is like pulling teeth. When I was pregnant earlier this summer, they couldn't get me scheduled until 11 weeks. Then I was able to reschedule and go way up to Cobb in order to get an earlier appt. Either way, I was not able to get an appt with a doctor.. I had to see a midwife. Well, that didn't matter either as I miscarried and ended up at Northside Emergency before my appointment. Of course that required a follow up appt with my OB. Well, they again were not able to actually get me an appt. They did bring me in and manage to squeeze me in between others appts. Honestly, if I wasn't too nervous about trying someone new.. I would switch.  The nurses and doctors are great there!

I am (sort of) new to Atlanta too! I lived here before, but have been in NYC for 11 years and just moved back unexpectedly last week. I'm looking into OBGYN of Atlanta - they have both midwives and OBGYN's on staff. 

I saw the other comment about not being able to get into their practice for appointments, but I got in immediately. I actually got in for next week, but had to push it a week, because it didn't look like my medical records from my old OBGYN would get released in time. They won't see you without your records, so make sure to have them released as soon as you can.

Initially I did get rubbed the wrong way, kept getting put on hold and having to repeat myself, but ultimately she was trying to get me sorted out in time for a glucose test and get me checked out since I'm technically going to be 2 1/2 weeks late in between when my appointments should really be.

Maybe I just have bad luck. I called at 8:30am this morning to get an appointment, but they have to have the nurse call to set the appointment for me.  1:40pm, and I still haven't gotten a call. Maybe my expectations are too high..
