Advice needed

We've been cloth diapering our little man for about 4 months in Indian cotton pre-folds with Thirsties covers. We just figured out that he is allergic to the PUL in the Thirsties.

So which covers out there don't have PUL? Would we use the pre-folds the same way (with the snappi)? Or would we have to fold it into thirds? We are currently using a friend's g-diaper covers (the PUL rash went away in a day), but I don't really like them. Our pre-folds are too bulky folded into thirds inside a cover that seems like one more wiggle and it is going to fall apart.  Are the inserts that coordinate with various covers that much better than our pre-folds? We paid $3 a pre-fold and some of those inserts new are $9 a piece! Of course, I'd like to buy used (any good website suggestions?). TIA

Yeah, I'd go with wool or fleece. Spots is a good place to look.

Rumparooz and grovia both have TPU.  My daughter is also sensitive to it and does well with wool.
