With which hopefully there is a beautiful follicle ready and waiting hehe. Fingers crossed for IUI next week ![]()
In other news, WTF is with insurance companies? I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I spoke to the Direct of Health Services back in March to verify what my OOP would be, what they would cover, etc. And now my RE is telling me that the insurance company is not going to cover anything. I'm like uh...no, they told me they would cover 50% of IUI. And every time I call the place, I get a different answer from each person I talk to! So ridiculous.
Re: 1st monitoring appointment Monday!

The Blog
Ooh that's awesome!! So exciting hehe
Nope, I'm doing natural cycle. So hopefully that lonely little follicle is a fighter!
Thanks!
We are actually doing much better, thank you so much for asking! We were definitely in a rut there and things are still a little fragile, but I let him know he could do this with me or not; if he feels like he cannot then he just needs to leave, and he has really come around. I still think that counseling would be a good idea for us, but it is OOP so we are putting that on hold for the moment, since we already have mounting medical bills from the whole IF thing. We've all been there lol. We are on the same page for now at least, so hopefully it stays that way.
I am glad that things are going better for you guys! GL on your IUI next week!!
And yea, insurance companies blow. I am lucky that mine "pays for IUIs" but it's still financially hard on us because we have a steep copay, so all the monitering appts get expensive. Also they say they pay for the IUI, but I guess in tiny print there are certain things they don't pay for (SA, or sperm collection). It's a PITA and I am one of the lucky ones so I can't even imagine!
TTC since March/April 2010
DX: MFI - less than 1 million sperm, 26% motility
DH put on anastrozole to increase counts

Forced break due to DH getting spinal surgery in August 2011
IVF - January 2012: BFN
FET in April 2012 - BFP at 6dp5dt! Beta #1 at 9dp5dt: 82.5, Beta #2 at 12dp5dt: 352 Beta #3 at 19dp5dt: 6000, saw heartbeat and one little bean at 5W6D!
After nearly 3 years of waiting our LO was born December 18th 2012!
I hope everything goes wonderful for you!! I can't stand insurance companies. What I do is I get the name of everyone I speak to and take notes of everything they say in a special notebook. I worked in a call center before and sometimes I let them know I'm taking notes so they get scared and "verify the information" they're giving me is correct because they know I will call back and I'll be able to tell exactly who I spoke to and exactly what they said.
