Yesterday I called my OB about the nice cut I got on my leg from a nail on Sunday. He wanted me to come in right away, but I run daycare out of my house and I already had kids there so I couldn't just leave them. So he told me to go to the ER when the kids were gone and get it.
So I go in around 6:45 after supper and the lady at the admin desk (Connie) waved me on over to the room next to her so another lady (Ann) could help me. Ann started getting all the paperwork ready but she had a question for Connie about something. Connie came in and was walking her through the steps. I guess the computer went to the wrong screen and Connie chewed Ann's butt about pushing the Y button rather than the S button. Ann said she didn't think she did but she got back to the right screen. Connie was like, "Yes you did, I SAW you push the Y button, don't tell me you didn't." Omg. Seriously. Ann looked back at her and said, "Well I am sorry, but you don't have to be rude about it." Connie then got snippier and said, "You are the one being rude." Ok can I be the judge? Connie, you are just a b!tch.
Finally I got to go back but I didn't even get a nurse...I got a paramedic. Whatever, just give me the damn shot so I can get home. Oh no...we had to wait for the doctor who looked at my cut and said that I heal fast. Whoopee. Tell that to my hoohah in about 3 months. So he said I had to get the Td shot which is safe for pregnant women. He sent the paramedic back in who told me she would be back with the shot. 45 mins went by and still nothing. She came and told me that she was waiting for a doctor or nurse to open the medicine cabinet since she didn't have access to it. FINALLY she came back and I got the shot, then had to wait 15 mins to leave.
TWO HOURS later I was home. Sigh....
