I'm new to this group. 35 years old, TTC #1, and have endometriosis and PCOS. After stopping birth control at the beginning of the year, I did not have a period for several months. After two rounds of provera (each one taking up to a month before (potential) results could be determined), I finally had a period after over 100 days. Since then, I've also completed two rounds of Clomid, and by using an ovulation prediction test and charting BBT's, I was happy to see I was finally ovulating. This month, when my period didn't arrive, I was so hopeful. However, with test after test being negative, I went to my doctor for a Beta, and they confirmed I wasn't pregnant. Now they're prescribing yet another round of provera, meaning there's little to no chance of trying this month, and we're looking at a minimum of 6 weeks until we can try again. It was depressing to feel like I was starting all over again. Anyone else out there still having cycle issues after having started Clomid? My doctor is also talking about starting me on Metformin. Anyone using that?
Re: New to the Group & Questions about Clomid & Metformin
Did you have a lap to diagnose the endo? Were your cycles regular before starting the clomid?
So sorry you are having to do another round of meds. Not familiar with Metformin or provera.
