DD#1s 3rd birthday party is this weekend and it is Disney Princess themed. There won't be tons of kids there since everyone seems to be out of town. I am planning on having the kids makes their own crowns, or having a few pre-made in case they don't want to make their own. We'll have lots of balloons, a princess cake and then all the plates and napkins, etc that go with the theme. For the birthday girl, we have a dress-up princess outfit as well. I know 3 is still young to have lots of activities, and most of the kids will just want to run around our house and explore (we will be indoors since we don't have a huge yard, but our house is big), but I wonder if the party is too low key. Has anyone done anything fun for a princess party for this age group? DD has a princess tent that I thought I would bring up too for the kids to play in. I normally get all crafty, but I am out of ideas. Any inspiration would help. Thanks.

Sounds good to me! I don't think 3 year olds really notice decorating that much but I still love the pictures on this site, one is a Princess Party:
