leg indentations

my LO is by no means chunky. actually fell off the growth curve and is finally back on it hanging in between the 3rd - 5th percentile. we started using a mix of BG 4.0's and tots bots easy fits. he is getting horrible deep indentations on his legs. maybe I am fastening them too tightly? the BG's are snaps. I was snapping on the 4th one in (so two snaps open in center). switched to 3 snaps in, not sure if it is making a difference? but I don't think I can go looser than that as it is starting to look open at the top near his belly. any advice?? TIA!

If the diaper is left off do the indentions go away in 3-4 minutes? Think about it like a hairband on your wrist. A loose one still leaves a mark, it just goes away in a few minutes. A too tight one leaves a deep purple welt.

My girls are 13lbs with medium thighs. I snap my BG4.0's with 1-2 snaps showing in the middle.
