M hasn'tn got any teeth yet. She's teeted, been cranky, chewed, gnawed, bit me, etc.
Last week she had either a cold or the runny-nose kind of teething. Because of her kidney issues, we checked her urine, it was clear. She seemed to get a bit better and then a fair bit worse - low-grade fever, more snot, red cheeks. And worse: she only wants to be on me, preferably using me as a dummy - not even really nursing. I can't get her to nap, eat lunch (even just applesauce). Last night we had to let her CIO inthe end to get to sleep, and it took 55 min. We've kept her firmly dosed up on ibuprofin and tylenol (alternating) but she's still the crankies, clingiest thing I've seen. W was never like this for teething.
Is it possible that's what this is? (Her temp seems a bit down under teh meds - it was only every 100-101.)
What have your LOs been like with the worst of teething?
Re: talk to me about teething

griff just started cutting his first tooth so im not that big of a help. the crankiness is beyond compare though.
Not sure if this could be teething or not. Thanfully Isaac didn't get too bad - his first 2 teeth broke through last week. He was fussy for quite a while. I remember some of the kids having a low-grade temp when they were teething.
Does she have any signs of an ear infection or anything else that would worry you? Are her gums really swollen like a tooth is close to breaking through? I hope she feels better. Maybe call the doctor if she doesn't seem a little happier in the next day or two. Good luck.
