Crampy with yellow/brown 'fluid' sorry TMI

I left a message for my ob to call me back... thought I'd ask if anyone else has experienced this in the interim...

This morning I woke up to a ton of pressure down there and a small amount of leaking yellow fluid (on the tp).  I put on a liner and went to work...well add cramping (cervix area, not back or belly) and checked the liner... small drips of brown/yellow fluid - not discharge...

 I have no idea what's going on and hope the ob calls me back soon... anyone else have experience with this?

I did at 32 weeks - it was a very common vaginal infection and the discharge was the first symptom; I didn't even have any discomfort before we caught it! If left untreated it can cause preterm labor so I had a short course of antibiotics and it cleared up quickly. It's good you called your OB - even if it isn't an infection, she really should probably take a look. GL!

Ah - I should mention that mine wasn't fluid - it was definitely more discharge-y, which I forgot to mention above.

I know this sounds gross but did you smell it? It may be your water and if it is off-color you really need to get to L&D because it might be meconium.

Did you call the emergency line or the regular line at your OB? You might want to leave a message on the emergency line...

Update -- ob told me to put on a clean liner and walk around for 30 mins to see if the fluid increases... if it does, they'll have me come in for a labor check... I'm supposed to call them back after I've walked for 30 mins. stay tuned...
