Cloth Diapering

Recommend your CD diaper bag please! (Anyone use a Vera Bradley?)

We didn't start CDing DD1 til she was 7 months, and by that point I wasn't about to invest in an entirely new diaper bag. However, with baby #2 on his/her way, it is about that time. My old bag isn't near big enough for the fluff. I'd love to snag a great priced Vera Bradley off Ebay if they're big enough, but I'll take any reco's and go from there!

Thanks!

  • I have a Nine West tote. It has REALLY deep pockets so I can stuff a lot of diapers in there but still have three other compartments for other stuff.
  • I am also hoping a Vera Bradley will work.  I don't need to carry much for DD anymore, just a couple diapers and a sippy cup.

  • I have a Vera Bradley and I love it but I don't think it is very big.

ETA: I like that it's not big though because then I don't feel like I'm moving.

Glad to hear you love it! I may just have to go with it and adjust to the size, considering I'm usually a big bag/purse kind of gal...

  • I wish you would have posted this yesterday.  I got one last night on their website it was a sale print and all sale had 20% off so I got the bag for $42 shipped!  They still have some sale prints but I don't think they have the 20% going on anymore.

  • I just got a Ju Ju Be All after wanting one for so long. And I LOVE it! We were at Disneyland all day yesterday and it held all DS's diapers for the day, plus all the other things I needed for him (pacis, change of clothes, bottles, formula powder, etc.). I love all the organizer pockets, too.

  • I have a Vera Bradley bag and I used it a lot more when she was little.  It's certainly big enough.  Now I have a Timbuktu mini-bag that I stick a small wetbag in.  I hate schlepping a lot of stuff.  So, if you like big bags, you should be good to go!

  • I use a normal backpack. Perfect solution, cheap as dirt and hands free.

  • Thanks everyone for the reco's! I'll look into all the ones you've suggested, and I'm feeling more confident about the Vera Bradley without being able to actually hold it and see what it has to offer.  And to PP who bought one last night - total bummer that the 20% might not be available anymore, I do have a ways to go though, I could keep my eye on their website and maybe they'll have another percentage off!

  • I ordered a VB in Very berry paisley from an ebay seller, new with tags and I got it shipped and all for 67.00 So just watch! I think its plenty big, I've tried a few diapers, wipes, toys, bottle, extra outfits, wet bag and I had plenty of room left!

Perfect! Sounds like the same ebay seller I was looking at. Do you know what their name was?

  • Can't speak from experience yet, but really fell in love with this bag.....Ju Ju Be BFF.  This video did show someone packing some cloth dipes.

I did take a diaper to the store though, and the cloth is a little too bulky for the pockets.  I am okay with that though, and will just keep them in the main part.  GL!

  • Glad the VBs work! I use a VB messenger bag for DD and I love how light weight it is. I was using a giant coach bag and it was so heavy.  The bag its self weighs a ton.  I am going to keep an eye on the bigger bags.

  • I have a Vera Bradley, they have some on sale on their site for about 1/2 price but may not be the pattern you like. I love mine. Plenty of room for a wet/dry bag with 4 or 5 diapers and then a few other things.
