In Labor...right?

I'm pretty sure I'm in the early stages of labor.  Woke up at 3:30am feeling almost like I was starting my period.  It felt like I was leaking, but not enough to be my water breaking. 

Turns out, it's bloody show.  I've been having contractions that feel like the cramps I get on the 2nd day of my period (usually my worst day).  I've been getting 5-6 per hour. 

So it looks like I'll have an outside baby soon!  Can't wait to meet her!

    That's how it happened for me with Ds2!  I started like that at 10-11pm and had him at 3:56pm the next day.  GL!  So exciting!!!

    Sounds like it!  I started at 2 am Thursday morning and had her at 9:55 pm that night...you may be having her today or tomorrow!  Best of luck!

    Lots of luck! Did you call your doctor about the bloody show?

    No, I didn't think bloody show was anything to call the Dr about (unless it's bright red - mine was pink at first then more brown tinged).  I'm waiting until I get 10 contractions in 1 hour to call - I'm up to 8!

    CALL YOUR DOCTOR.  When my water broke, it had a light brown tinge, and that's because DD passed her meconium in utero.  This is potentially dangerous to baby since they breathe in everything that's in placenta.  After they realized she passed her meconium, they rushed her to the NICU where she stayed while we were in the hospital.  Don't mess around with the brown!
