Anyone take Vistaril?>

My doctor prescribed it for my hyperemesis and I was wondering if anyone had the same prescription since nothing else would work

it is not a true anti-emetic, but it does help with nausea.  Technically it is an anti-histamine.  i took it for sleep.

I use it occasionally for anxiety and the pregnancy-related dog allergy I have picked up...

I took it for sleep and it is also prescribed for anxiety. The side effects are a lot like Benedryl. Don't drive when you take it because it can make you really woozy.

I took it during my last pregnancy and was given a dose of it Monday night when I had to go into L & D to help me sleep. It didn't work then though because my hospital has really super uncomfortable beds...
