Question about mixing meds...

Tonight we start Gonal F and Menopour and I'm nervous as all heck and I have questions and of course, my doctor's office isn't available....

My questions is can we mix the Gonal F with the Menopour to give one shot?  I know we can, I just don't remember how to do it.  And should I do it or should I just give my sister two shots?  Thanks.

I don't want to give wrong info to you because I used different meds. I needed to use more than 1 vial of the menopur so I was told to draw the dilutent into syringe and add to the vial of Menopur then draw it all up and use that mix to liquify the next vial of menopur.

Thanks Worms and thanks for the confidence....we'll see... It's gonna be a long four days!!!  LOL  

I think we are gonna just do just two shots though.  It's just simpler.

I tried mixing the Gonal F from the pen with my Menopur and honestly it was more of a pain doing that then just doing the two shots separately. You definitely can do it, but it is just as easy to do two shots. Good Luck hun!
