Hi Ladies -
Well - C will be one in October and I have not yet had professional photos taken of him...{{Bad mommy}}
Anyhow, do you have suggestions? Who is good - I know there are a ton of them around, but I don't want to waste time/money going somewhere that isn't worth it..
TIA!
Re: Albany area Moms - where to have photos taken?
I've had them done at JCP (both Crossgates and CP Center), and iSmile. They were good experiences.
If she's up for it, though, SeptBride is fantastic!
I used Picture People at Crossgates(6 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months). They were great until the 1 year pictures. DS wanted nothing to do with it and the picture quality was not that great. The photographer also only spent 5 minutes with him. I wasn't impressed that time. But his other pictures up until then came out fantastic.
At 2, we used ISmile. They were ok too. DS still really didn't want anything to do with it again. We got 1 or 2 cute pics but that's about it. Enough that were frame worthy.
At 18 months we used a photographer that took pics of him in his natural setting. They came out awesome. It was completely affordable too. I got all pictures on a cd for $125. I was able to frame them myself plus use them for Christmas cards and gifts. She spent 2 hours with him.
My recommendation is to go the photographer route. If you can't, ISmile and Picture People were fine. I would rate them equal. I also have a friend who raves about Sears.
GL!
We did monthly pictures at ismile. We choose as early as possible to get in and out quicker. We also ONLY had Delilah do our picutes. She is amazing. We will do it again for this LO.
Christmas last year we had Picture People do them because I had a coupon.... it was horrible. The photographer sucked. I know its not like that with all of them though.
I would hands down rec SeptBride- she has a great eye and she just gets some awesome shots. Her prices are reasonable and she has good turn around time.
She has taken all of Lorenzo's pictures- and I have NEVER been disappointed.
