Hi!
I used to post on this board just over a year ago. I went the foster2adopt route and have had a failed adoption attempt. The babies in my siggy are foster babies and we are thinking of starting treatment again. The following is the xp:
Alright so I am looking at trying 1-3 super ovulation cycles before we do ivf. We are completely OOP for it though. Bleh.Tell me about your cycles. 
What cycle day did you start the injections? 
What dosages and what meds were you on? 
 How many follies did you end up having mature?
Did they have to increase or decrease meds in your cycle? 
What cycle days did you have bloodwork and u/s? 
How many days were you on the injections (what day did you trigger)?

I've done three cycles of oral meds + injections, which is generally less expensive than injections alone.  I'm now doing injections alone, because we weren't consistently getting enough follies with the combo.

For oral meds + injects, I started oral meds on CD3 and injects on CD3-5.  This time, I started injects on CD4.

I was on 5 mg Femara + 75 iu of shots.  This time it's 150 iu of shots.  

I ended up with 1-3 (maybe 4) follies on the combination protocol.  We are hoping for 3-6, I think, on the new protocol.  One or two just wasn't cutting it. 

The RE usually does decrease my dosage after monitoring. 

My RE just does u/s, no b/w.  I get a baseline (CD2-4) ultrasound, then another after four days of shots, then others as needed.  I only had to do a third u/s once, when I wasn't responding very quickly.  Usually I end up triggering on CD9 or 10.

I have done 4-7 days of injections per cycle.  

No IUI here, though I may ask to do it.  It's OOP and the RE doesn't think we need it.

What dosages and what meds were you on? Always Follistim; IUI #2: 75IU; IUI #3: 40IU; IUI#4 & 5: 50IU
How many follies did you end up having mature? IUI#2: 6 (overresponse); IUI#3: 1; IUI #4 & 5: 2
Did they have to increase or decrease meds in your cycle? With my 2nd attempt, I stopped all meds on CD9; With my third attempt, I went up to 50 IU at CD9. All others stayed the same.
What cycle days did you have bloodwork and u/s? Always CD3 and CD6, then depending on the results, every other day or everyday. My clinic has you go daily once the biggest follicle reaches 16mm; I ovulate early so they brought me in daily once I hit 14mm.
How many days were you on the injections (what day did you trigger)? Usually around 8. I usually triggered on CD 10 or 11. But, out of the three cycles that actually made it to IUI, I was already surging on day of trigger.
Did you do an IUI? Of my five attempts, I only made it to three IUIs. I didn't do my 2nd cycle (overresponse) or my 4th cycle (clinic missed my ovulation)
