Where are you in your cycle?

What are your next steps?

Re: Check in - week of August 15th

  • Where are you in your cycle? I have no idea. Seriously this is so wierd for me. I'm a Type A that has been temping since before we started TTC.

What are your next steps? Deciding if we take another cycle off or not.

What is your stay/get healthy strategy for this week? Working out daily which isn't hard on this vacation. We're trying surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, sea kayaking and my favorite - beach running. I'm so exhausted.

QOTW: Favorite summer drink? Pinot Grigio or if I can find it a nice light Sancerre.

Where are you in your cycle? CD-4

What are your next steps? I was scheduled to go to the RE Friday but DH had a death in the family.  The funeral is Friday so I am trying to reschedule the RE appointment.  After how hard it was to get this appointment and have the insurance cover it, this is a little frustrating.

What is your stay/get healthy strategy for this week? DH found a new excercise/diet plan that he would like to present to me tonight.  We shall see what his plan is this time.

QOTW: Favorite summer drink?  I put water in a jug (a really pretty one) and add ice, cucumbers, lemons, limes, and oranges.

I am looking forward to getting to know all of the newbies.

What are your next steps? Going back to RE we were seeing at end of last year.  We were much happier at that clinic, and felt as if they had a much more positive outlook on cycling moms over 40.  Having issues with HMO referral from my primary Dr., and that is definitely contributing to my stress.  Consulation is on 8-29-11, conveniently CD 21 for me.

What is your stay/get healthy strategy for this week? Starting accupuncture for stress management and continuing to walk each evening with DH.

  • Where are you in your cycle?   I am in the 2WW, 12 DPO, Testing on Friday!

What are your next steps?   One more unmedicated cycle, and then IVF

What is your stay/get healthy strategy for this week?  Since we have started Training camp at work, I have been walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes while my boss is outside at football practice for 2 1/2 hours a day. I have come to realize that if I can leave my desk in the middle of the day to work out, then I will do it. Before or after work? not so much...I have dropped about 5 pounds in the last 3 weeks, so I 'm pretty excited about that, because I'm still eating the way i normally do...

QOTW: Favorite summer drink?   Where do I begin? For sure a fresh margarita on the rocks with salt made by DH. Also love red sangria, and I can't forget corona with lime...

TTC since 3/2010. Me 41, DH-49. After 3 years, 6 IUIs and several IVFs we have finally have our beautiful baby girl, born on 11/7/13.

Where are you in your cycle? 2 dpo

What are your next steps? WAITING, WAITING, WAITING for Karyotyping results and results of some other immunology and random bloodwork, (trying to figure out why I keep having mc's before trying another ART cycle and to determine if it is worth our $ to do IVF in that case.

What is your stay/get healthy strategy for this week? Nothing new really I still don't eat white stuff and am taking Pilates classes.  Oh, this week I am going to focus on getting more sleep, just in general, something I think we all forget about in terms of our overall good health plans.

QOTW: Favorite summer drink?  Well, that's a tough one when I don't do sugar because I don't do substitutes either.  I used to LOVE a fresh/natural mojito with raw sugar, but now it's probably just Corona w/lime.  I'm boring!

What are your next steps?  I have an appointment with a new OB on 8/22.  Hoping for some answers and some tests to be ordered.

What is your stay/get healthy strategy for this week?  All I am concentrating on this week is trying not to STRESS...

  • Update: Today is day 3 of stims, first monitoring appt is Thursday!

Next steps: if IVF#1 doesn't work, we will probably take a break until November. We have a trip to California next month, and I have a 2 week trip for work in October which will make it hard to do anything before then. Hopefully that won't be an issue though.

Healthy: well, running is out, so I've been riding my bike to work most days of the week. I'm going to try swimming. Maybe. And since I'm not drinking while on stims, that cuts a good bit of calories out of my weekly consumption. :)

QOTW: margarita from scratch (no mix), but that's really a year round drink. I'm going to try to find some alcohol free cocktail to replace it. I feel really boring drinking ice water all the time.

Where are you in your cycle? - Day 10. I thought I had an OPK two days ago, but I got a clear as day OPK test line about an hour ago so perhaps the other one wasn't actually positive. This would explain why my temps haven't shifted.  I'm new at this charting stuff and reading OPK strips.

I had this happen once when I over-saturated the OPK test strip.  Held it in the stream a little too long and the dye smudged across the whole test field, which I think is why the digital reader gave me a smiley face when I wasn't really O'ing yet.  I got a more clear opk+ a couple of days later that made more sense with my temps and cm.

What are your next steps?   Onward, and trying to be happy about it.  I am seriously struggling with the idea of stopping the TTC soon.  I don't know if I can stick to my word on that.

What is your stay/get healthy strategy for this week?  I am exercising daily, taking my vitamins and supplements, and watching what I put in my mouth.

QOTW: Favorite summer drink?  Wine!  I am in the drink til it is pink camp...in moderation, of course.  I also love fresh brewed decaf unsweet iced tea.

What is your stay/get healthy strategy for this week? Stay away from restaurants and fast food. (It's teacher in-service week and all the girls (and guys) want to hit the town for our hour and a half lunch. This is a luxury we don't receive once school starts. I plan to bring my lunch 3 of the 5 days this week. I usually go out all 5 days. I do not eat MSG, HFCS, or anything containing these ingredients - pretty much all processed foods and it has helped me lose 75 lbs in the last 16 months.)
