the one that I have is a POS. I have to push the heat button at LEAST 4 times before its warm. Which bottle warmer do you like and why? I'll be using it to heat breastmilk (not formula) in Dr. Brown bottles. I know some of you use a crockpot at night to heat bottles--tell me about this (what size, how long does it take, etc?)
Re: I need a new bottle warmer...
We used the crockpot method. We had two small crockpots (one upstairs in the bathroom and one downstairs in the kitchen) We filled them with water and kept the one downstairs on low during the day and then at night we turned that one off and turned the upstairs one on low.
For night time feedings I would bring a cooler bag upstairs with my pre-filled bottles (we used Dr Brown's as well) and when it was feeding time I would drop two bottles into the crockpot and change their diapers. I would keep the bottles in there for about 3 minutes and they were warm and ready to go.
The crockpots were a big time saver for us. I bought them at Walmart and they were pretty inexpensive.
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!

I have a really ghetto First Years warmer that someone gave me (used) when I was pregnant and I thought "Oh, I'll never use this. I don't need a bottle warmer". BAHAHAHA. Joke is on me. I use that damn thing almost 8 times a day and I hate it more and more each time I use it.
Time to try microwaving mugs of water before I go spend $$ on the dr. brown warmer!
I KNEW IT! I have the same ones... Yes, I have 2 of these junkers.
