We have been really good this cycle, having sex EOD.
Sunday night we decided to get it on, and I used Pre-seed (As the lights were off, and it was spontaneous I couldn't really see how much pre-seed I put in the applicator),
Well needless to say it ended as a disaster as H kept on slipping out. We decided it wasn't going to happen and gave up.
Well, to make things worse DH came home after work last night and told me that he hurt himself Sunday night.
So I guess this cycle is a write off for us ![]()
Re: Warning: Don't use too much Pre-seed
Thanks LM915 ... Its oki ...
I just wanted to warn everyone else who might be using Pre-seed for the first time, use it very sparingly
If you do a quick search of this board, this has been discussed a few times. There are a couple of threads that give suggestions on how much to use rather than what they tell you to use in the instructions.
Hope that helps!
Sounds like she already learned that lesson.
OP, sorry your DH is hurt. Hopefully he feels better quickly.

Oh yes I did learn ... the hard way ...
I wear glasses/contacts, so once the lights turn off and I take of my glasses I can't see much to begin with ...
Lesson learned ... always prepare the applicator before the lights go off ...
Ha ha happened to us the first two times too Cruelsound ...
DH was scared that all his sperm was leaking out, until we realized it was just Pre-seed ...
My point was actually that there is a post like this probably once a week.
Your point was clear. So what if something like this is posted. She clearly stated she couldn't see what she was doing and used too much, it wasn't on purpose. Since it's posted once a week she can't share her story.
Oh noooooo
(
I'd feel bad for MH and baby him for a day or two then assault him with:
Well how bad does it hurt? Can you suck it up? What if I get on top and then we switch right before you finish?
Can you tell I've been in your shoes before? lol
GL and hopefully you're not completely out!

This is the first story I've seen where the dh sprained his pee pee using preseed. It's pretty funny and an anecdote. This really isn't a post where a "point" needs to be made.
but, but, but I'm trying to take my title as the board expert!! I'm the smrtst and the snarkiest!!!!!!!!!!!
I wasn't trying to be snarky at all. I was actually trying to be helpful. It's what I do... or at least try to do. I was only pointing out that we have discussed that less should be used, more than once. That would have prevented a penial strain.
But it's already happened and the OP obviously figured that out. It's like I said in the other thread--it seems like you are just trying to be a know-it-all. Lay off already.
Actually not at all. Those who know me, know that I am not snarky at all.
Maybe you aren't but your posts lately do come off as bitchy.
Really? Telling the OP that had she read the board she would know to use less is helpful? Even though she clearly stated that the amount used was a mistake in the dark.
Since I was already lurking for the check in...
Exactly this! How is pointing out that there are threads about this all of the time helpful to the OP? It's too late now! I don't know you, but it comes across as "tsk tsk tsk.. you should read the board more thoroughly."
Why not bring some of those suggestions into *this* thread if you're really trying to be helpful?
My helpful suggestion - next time try applying externally without the applicator. Whenever I used it with the applicator, even pulling up less than the amount on the directions, it always seemed like too much. A little externally went a long way.
I'm sorry about your husband, I hope he's feeling better soon.
Thank you so much for all the great advice...
I am addicted to this board since the last month and a half and I pretty much read every single post...
I just posted it as I thought it was funny, and maybe also as a warning to others out there who might be trying it for the first time...
I am hoping all the Neosporin he applied last night worked some magic and I can get him in the mood soonish ...
Hah.. It was funny. Poor DH. TTC injuries are the worst..
I tried half the suggested amount because of threads on the TTTC board.. and it was still too much. Looking back, it was quite comical.
Now.. we just use a little externally. Although, I asked my OB about Preseed yesterday and told me that he'd prefer that we didn't use any at all. Increasing my water consumption has helped but I'm still not sure that it's enough... but... I guess we'll try it without Preseed again.

He put Neosporin on his peen?
Yup he did ...
I couldn't see anything wrong with it, so I didn't know what else to suggest ...
Huh? Neosporin? Does he have an open wound?
What exactly is neosporin supposed to do? lol Icy Hot, maybe, but even then...youchy. I've never heard of neosporin for a sprain.
DH is drama queen ...
According to him there was a sprain and also a cut ... I couldn't see the cut ...
HAHA with that much Pre-Seed I don't know how he could have been cut. You got knives up in there or something?
I might suggest Icy Hot tonight ... if he is still complaining ...
According to him it hurt, and there was a small tear in the skin ...
