If you are having a baby around Halloween, will you put him or her in a costume? Have you already found one? I want to find something sweet to put baby in, even if we will just be home with her!

Re: Halloween costumes for tiny newborns
We're not putting him in an actual costume. I found these super cute pajamas from BRU. There is a giant pumpkin on the butt and the feet. I also got a little pumpkin rattle too. I'm due just 10 days before Halloween so I don't want to make him fussy with some big costume. I'd rather he be nice and comfortable. I'm going to look for a pumpkin beanie he can wear too.

This and something comfortable. It's a great price.

Not sure if you can still get this one...2 years ago from BRU. Best costume EVER!
My kids love Scooby Do and the older two what to be Fred and Daphne for Halloween, making my younger daughter Velma...... so I figure maybe make little guy Shaggy for Halloween since Shaggy seems to wear a green shirt and brown pants it would cute for him to join in with his siblings and be comfy too. And since sewing is my hobby I can make all their customs right before and even after he comes.
My oldest was about 2 weeks old around Halloween 2006. I dressed him up as a pea in the pod it was a comfy little sleep sack he looked so cute.

I definitely want to do a Halloween costume. At the moment, I'm thinking of dressing him in black, stuffing some black tights and attaching them to either his outfit or the Baby Bjorn, and making him a spider. I, of course, will be dressed as a spider web, since he'll be attached to me anyway!
My husband also suggested our 5 y/o dress up as Robin Hood (whom he loves), DH would be Little John, I'd be Maid Marian and the baby can be a bag of money robbed from the rich.
There are quite a few cute things you can do just using a gown or bunting that won't make baby uncomfortable. Try searching on the web for newborn Halloween costumes.
