Anyone know anything about mattresses?

We are looking at getting DD a twin mattress set.  But I don't know what to get her. It all confuses me! 

 # of coils, plush, pillowtop, etc, etc.

 What is a good one for a toddler?

    I don't know that much other than we have a pillow top and I hate the fact that you can't flip it, I don't think it wears well.

     We just ordered this mattress for DS and it's coming on Wednesday. We couldn't beat the price and figured he's used to sleeping on a crib mattress so anything has to be just as good. I wanted something that could be flipped and rotated, so I avoided pillow top. I also wanted firm because that's what he's used to. We didn't need a boxspring because he has a storage bed so the mattress sits right on top.
