Anyone have the Nikon Coolpix S4100?

My cousin just got one and she said that the time between taking pictures is insanely slow. Does anyone know if there is a way that you can turn this off at all or do you just have to wait the 20-30 second between each shot?

(I'm also going to XP this over to the Photography board).
