For all those with MIL troubles...

I've been reading a lot of the MIL troubles posts and thought this article I found on yahoo this morning might help or at least let you know you're definetly not alone in this matter! This is something I thought could possibly be left around somewhere your MIL "might" find it and maybe get some sort of point across.... Subtly semi-evil in a way I guess, but with some of the things I've been reading these MIL's deserve A LOT more then this! Good luck ladies just remember you'll get through this!

Btw, did I mention I've watched my own grandmother do every single one of these to my own mother...no wonder my parents got a divorce!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this article!!! The whole "he was mine before he was yours" is sooooo true in my case! My MIL refers to DH as "her sonshine boy" (yes, note the spelling!). When we were dating, I had spent the night at his parents house, woke up before him, and when he got up, I said "good morning sunshine". MIL said "NO he's MY SONSHINE!" Possessive much!?!??!?!

I wish my MIL was that straightforward.  She's much more passive aggressive, and plain ol' BSC, lol.

This article is awesome! I'm glad that my MIL has already learned these things as we are having her 4th grandchild.  I know she will discuss things like parenting style and discipline with my SILs as she tries to do with me about the other girls but I guess that is just how she is always going to be.  She is a very outspoken woman and I don't think that will EVER change!
