SIL rant (NIFR)

So everyone should feel really bad for me today because I have to go to my sister-in-law's house for my husband's grandmother's 90th birthday today. I will be frank. I hate my SIL. She is a b!itch. We barely speak to each other but I still seethe when I see her. Besides a history of her walking all over me (and me taking it lying down with my mouth shut - shame on me) she is a disingenuous gossip queen that requires everything to revolve around her. She attempts to control everyone's lives and clearly implies that because I don't have kids, my life doesn't matter and I can cater to her "schedule." The worst part is having to watch my husband's entire family kiss her a$$ every minute of the day. Ugh. <commence drinking>

I do feel bad for you. Your SIL sounds like a nightmare. Do your best to avoid her and maybe you can partly salvage the day?

Ugh.  I hate people like that.  Sucks that she's related to you!  I TOTALLY support drinking your way thru it today.  Hang in there!

LOL Im sorry. Have those drinks! My SIL is the SAME way and guess what? She got pregnant to "beat me to it" and then stole my baby name. Yep. My BIL married a winner. *rolls eyes*
