3rd tri start?

when does your 3rd tri actually start? my ticker below says I have more time still but when I logged onto the bump yesterday it sent me to 3rd tri board instead of 2nd. Feeling like Im not sure where i am lol TIA

Everyone uses different weeks to start the trimesters, some use 26wks, the bump uses 27wks, and the rest use 28wks as the start of the 3rd. Whenever you feel like moving over is OK! 

If you are 1 minute overdue the bump will start counting down days to LO's next b-day and move you over to the 0-3 boards LOL even more frustrating than the tri's.

Every site seems slightly different, but I always went by the simple 40weeks/3 trimesters = 13.3 weeks for each trimester. Basically that means that by my estimation, at 27 weeks you're in the third trimester.
